Portable pump-out proves popular on demo
An ‘open day’ with demonstrations of marine sanitation was more promising than it sounded, and a lot less embarrassing.
LeeSan launched its new range of pump out equipment in March. For regular commercial use, the easily transportable, electric pumped LS25M, on its neat, two wheeled trolley, provides storage for both the suction and the discharge hoses. Its all weather construction allows it to be stored outside while its compact size allows the unit to fit unobtrusively almost anywhere.
This unit is powered by one of the company’s well tested and proven 240V pumps and is fitted with a LeeSan ISO pump out probe. It will easily pump out the holding tank of the average boat direct to an adjacent foul sewer in just a few minutes.
For situations where the sewer is ‘distant’ from the boat, the company offer its LSM80W. This four wheeled unit features a built-in tank and a more powerful electric pump. After the boat has been pumped out, the unit can be wheeled, or even towed via the incorporated tow-bar, to the foul sewer for discharge.
The LSM80W is already proving a success in helping meet legislative requirements for pump out.
