Excellent Seawork for Mantsbrite
“The show was excellent for us, it was well attended and we had some good quality enquiries.” – That was the view from Mantsbrite, Seawork 2012 exhibitor and international distributor of marine equipment.
“It’s the best show for us”, Mantsbrite managing director, David Ash, told Maritime Journal today after a successful time at the show last week.
Mantsbrite was hoping to attract a significant number of visitors from companies which are involved in the UK offshore renewable energy supply chain at the show – and they didn’t leave disappointed.
“There has been a significant increase in equipment sales to such companies over the last twelve months, particularly to businesses which are supplying personnel transfer vessels to offshore wind farm developers and operators,” Mr Ash continued.
A number of Mantsbrite customers were exhibiting at Seawork this year. Norfolk’s Tidal Transit has recently invested in two state of the art 20m support vessels to transport wind farm construction workers and maintenance crew out to the Greater Wash and Southern North Sea Energy zones. Both vessels are equipped with a sophisticated navigation system supplied by Mantsbrite using Koden, Lorenz and ComNav equipment – one of the vessels, the Eden Rose, was on display at the Seawork pontoon this year.
Blyth Workcats also had two catamarans on show at the pontoon, the Blyth 17m and the Blyth 14m. Mantsbrite and its dealer, R&J Marine, supplied Koden equipment for both vessels.
