Pelangi International acquired by Sealite
Australian navigational aids expert, Sealite, has acquired long term marine distributor, Pelangi International Ltd.
Previously privately owned Pelangi International has been distributing Sealite products for a number of years. The company, which is headquartered in Lowestoft on the east coast of England, offers a turn-key AtoN solution offering design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance to the UK market.
Chris Procter, chief executive officer of Sealite said, “The acquisition of Pelangi International is in line with our growth plans of bringing Sealite people and products closer to our users in the UK and Europe. Pelangi is a trusted name for supplying and servicing aids to navigation in the UK, and we’re looking forward to building on their foundations and growing the business.”

All three British Isles lighthouse authorities, the UK MoD and a number of commercial ports are among Pelangi’s high profile customers.
