Alphaconnect Hybrid launched at SMM
The navigation and communications division of Dutch innovator Alphatron Marine has introduced Alphaconnect Hybrid, a type approved on board telephone system (PABX) with integrated IP facilities.
Alphatron Marine’s latest addition in the field of internal marine communication was launched earlier this month at the SMM trade show in Hamburg.
The new Alphaconnect 48/128 hybrid uses the well known Alphaconnect technology in combination with cable saving IP technology. The Alphaconnect Hybrid offers:
· 24 DNV approved analogue stations expandable up to 256
· 24 VoIP telephone ports with POE expandable up to 500 and more
· 2 VoIP to analogue voice channels expandable up to 8
· Analogue trunking to Sat communication
· Voip trunking to broadband Sat service
· WiFi access for connection of smartphones and for wireless configuration
· VoIP system supports most of the available IP phones with POE
A dedicated app is available which allows smartphones to integrate with the communication system on board.
