Van Wijngaarden Marine Services will use the Waddenstroom DP2 to carry out:

  • Towing (single- & double tow);
  • Port duties: Crane works, Transport;
  • Cable and/or pipelay support
  • Supplying;
  • Dredging with A-frame and Plough;
  • Geotechnical services.

Characteristics:

  • Large working deck: 190 m2  
  • Hydraulic cranes: 2x 410 HS, 13.5 & 18.0 mtr;
  • Draft 2.3 mtr. and beaching is possible;
  • Accommodation up to 16 persons – 10 above water line, 6 below deck;
  • VSAT;
  • Fuel efficient due to diesel-electric propulsion;
  • Certification / Audited: ISM, MLC, IMCA / CMID;
  • Bureau Veritas: Notation DYNAPOS AM/AT, Anchor handling.

Optional applications:

  • A-frame 50 T / 25 T (with plough)
  • 4p-Mooring system 
  • Water injection system
  • ROV – Diving Ops. platform
  • Power supply up to 125 A 50/60 Hz

After successfull yard trials last week the latest member of our fleet was christened by a very proud Corry van Wijngaarden-Dekker and her great-granddaughter Leandra Biesheuvel.

The well-known words ‘I wish you a safe journey’ were spoken by Leandra!
