CMR Group unveils new sensor designs

French CMR Group is set to unveil new designs for its J1939 Connect CAN sensor for both land and marine applications at industry shows this year.

CMR Group says the J1939 provides a more

Launched last year, J1939 Connect CAN sensor uses J-SENSE technology, meaning analog to digital conversion electronics are embedded within the sensor. This allows for a direct CAN connection to the engine ECU.

CMR Group says the J1939 provides a more elegant instrumentation solution for measuring exhaust gas, cylinder liner and fluids temperatures alongside pressure and speed measurement features, integrating various improvements and includes a double TCK input.

The sensor is already in use by customers for temperature measurement and installed on high speed and after-treatment engines.

The new designs will be on show at the 2015 High Horsepower Summit in Dallas and Kormarine 2015 expo in Busan, Korea, alongside a range of instrumentation and other sensors.
