DEME organises supply chain events

Belgian dredging, marine engineering and environmental group, DEME, has organised supply chain events to support the UK offshore wind industry.

DEME Group organises 13 supply chain events to support UK offshore wind market

The events have been organised between November and December of this year and will take place at 13 locations across Britain.

DEME aims to increase UK manufactured content supplied to offshore wind chains by giving local chains a better understanding of the scale of future demand in the UK.

Scottish Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and GROW:OffshoreWind are supporting DEME’s UK roadshow in cooperation with local business associations.

The series will kick off on 23 November in Glasgow and will travel to Inverness, Wick and Aberdeen before reaching County Durham at the end of the month.

It will continue on 2 December in Barrow-in-Furness, following on to Liverpool, Belfast, Grimsby, Norwich, Colchester and Ashford. The series will end in London on 11 December.

The company has already worked on many projects including, Greater Gabbard, London Array and the Humber Gateway. DEME’s subsidiary offshore and wind assistance also has several ongoing maintenance contracts in UK waters.

Registration for each individual event can be found on the DEME website.
