Real-time audio visual with AlphaEye
Rotterdam-based Alphatron Marine has introduced the AlphaEye service communication tool with real-time audio and visual support.
The AlphaEye will offer an extra set of eyes onboard to help solve problems with specialists on standby 24/7 both remotely and globally.
Onboard crews can call through a satellite communication link directly to the experts at the Alphatron Marine office and transfer live audio and visual. This means onboard problems can be solved in a matter of minutes.
The remote support allows regular jobs, such as adjusting or replacing components, to be completed with greater accuracy and ease.
Through the AlphaEye, it can also be arranged for new or missing parts to be sent to the next port that a vessel is due to call at.
Alphatron Marine said that its main priority is supporting the ship-owners and crew to the highest standard possible. It has delivered various complex solutions and believes commitment to continually improving services has inspired it to build a totally new service platform around the AlphaEye.
