Conference on integrated ship’s information systems
The German Institute of Navigation is organising the 12th International Symposium on Integrated Ship’s Information Systems and Maritime Traffic Engineering.
It will take place at the Hafen Hotel in Hamburg, Germany, from 31 August to 2 September 2016.
German Institute of Navigation will hold the event in cooperation with the Maritime University of Szczecin, in Poland.
The event will cover the improved reliability, resilience and integrity of navigational information and autonomous ship technologies.
As well as, sea survey technologies and challenges, safe navigation in port entrances, infrastructure and technology.
The conference will focus on approaches and solutions to ensure the proper provision and utilisation of information. The use of new information systems will be discussed, taking into account the role and needs of humans in an environment with an ever-increasing load of information.
There will also be a platform to present advanced approaches for green navigation and unmanned ships as well as more concepts for the future.
