Atlantis Resources appointment
Global tidal power expert, Atlantis Resources, has appointed a new director of power generation in order to help drive the construction stage of the MeyGen project and increase the company’s wider project development portfolio.
Stephen Ward will take up his post with immediate effect and will join the company’s new Executive Management Group following the relocation of Atlantis’ corporate headquarters to Scotland.
Mr Ward was previously head of project management UK at AREVA Wind prior to moving into Offshore Operations at Adwen Offshore (AREVA Wind’s JV with Gamesa Offshore).
He was responsible there for the project management, installation and logistics elements of various European tender submissions.
Prior to AREVA Wind, he was a senior project manager at ScottishPower Renewables from 2006 to 2012.
