AND Group rebrands as Satcom Global

Under the Satcom Global brand will now sit AND Group’s marine and offshore safety and security products, together with a range of enhanced engineering services and former AND clients such as Bosch Security, Autronica Fire and Security, FHF, Cobham SATCOM and Furuno.

Ian Robinson, CEO of BSS Group which owns both brands, said: “Combining the expertise, skills and assets of AND Group under the Satcom Global brand fits perfectly within our strategic framework of strengthening our end-to-end solutions capabilities.”

Based in both the UK and Singapore, Satcom Global offers engineering services including round-the-clock response engineering, installation and commissioning, turnkey solution, annual surveys and managed maintenance contracts.

Also available are specialist services including vessel shot blasting and surface maintenance training and a marine spares division.

They will contribute valuable experience, skills and key supplier relationships, solidifying Satcom Global’s position as a leading full service supplier to the maritime market.”

In the future, Satcom Global plans to offer equipment for fire and gas detection, CCTV services and Public Address/General Alarm systems.

Its communications portfolio will also expand with new lines such as fixed telephones for explosive atmospheres, radio products, anti-piracy solutions, navigation equipment and entertainment systems.
