New gearbox portfolio from ZF
German-based ZF has an unrivalled range of gearboxes for marine and offshore applications.
The new product range was presented at the Asia Pacific Maritime Exhibition 2016 which took place on 16-18 March 2016 in Singapore.
“ZF is pleased to be able to offer a more comprehensive suite of products for our marine and offshore customers, including winch and swing gearboxes and a complete gearbox portfolio for work boats,” said Koh Chong Hin, general manager at Asia Pacific Marine.
He added: “Our customers can look forward to new offerings from ZF produced with the same high quality standards.”
The new range of gearboxes for marine and offshore applications includes swing gearboxes with a weight of up to 11 tonnes for positioning offshore-cranes.
As well as winch gearboxes and specialised gearboxes for jack-up systems to lift offshore platforms and work boats to the required heights.
