Largest mobile harbour crane in the Copenhagen area
Danish company A. Henriksen Shipping A/S recently signed a contract for a new multi-purpose German-built Liebherr mobile harbour crane, type LHM 550 with a total lifting capacity of 144 tonnes.
Operating out of the ports of Frederiksværk and Hundested, north of Copenhagen, the Danish company A. Henriksen Shipping A/S offers a wide range of services within shipping, transport and logistics. The company was established in Copenhagen in 1934 and has for decades served local as well as international customers.
In 2007, A. Henriksen Shipping bought their first Liebherr mobile harbour crane LHM 400. Since then the company was highly satisfied with the reliability and the performance of the crane.
The new mobile harbour crane, type LHM 550, will be used to lift steel slabs with a total weight of up to 61 tonnes each. With a maximum lifting capacity of up to 144 tonnes the new machine will be also in use for heavy lift/project cargo operation.
