DEME wins most attractive employer award
Dredging, environmental and marine engineering company DEME has won ‘The Randstad Award’ for most attractive employer in Belgium at the recruitment group’s 2017 employer brand seminar.
DEME was also presented with Randstad’s ‘Lifetime Achievement’ Award, based on its ratings since 2009 in Randstad’s employer brand research.
“This is a wonderful recognition of our longstanding efforts to diversify our business activities and to raise the appeal of our brand image as an employer,” DEME director and CEO, Alain Bernard, commented. “The award is also in recognition of the work put in by our employees, whose entrepreneurship, innovative thinking and commitment are what make DEME into a successful company, both on the domestic market and at our projects across the globe.”
DEME ranks among the top three companies in nearly all of the areas considered for The Randstad Award in Belgium, including financial standing, stimulating work, job security, workplace vibe and embracing new technologies.
The award recognises the most attractive employers in 26 countries worldwide.
To determine the winner in Belgium, 11,000 students, employees and jobseekers aged 18-65 were asked, ‘Is this a company you would like to work for?’.
