40 knot performance from new catamaran tour boat

Washington, USA-based boat builder Armstrong Marine’s most recent launch, the 40ft (12m) catamaran ‘Mirai’, recently ran its first passenger tour in Oahu, Hawaii.

Armstrong Marine’s design paired with the unique vinyl wrap make for an eye-catching vessel that is already garnering attention in Hawaii

The Honolulu-based company Hawaii Experiences contracted Armstrong Marine to build the boat. Four Evinrude outboards providing a total of 1,000 horsepower give the vessel a running speed of 47 mph (40.8 Knots).
