Aggregates dredging conference scheduled
The European Marine Sand and Gravel Group has confirmed that the 5th EMSAGG conference programme has been confirmed and will take place on the 4 – 5 June 2015, at Deltares in Delft, Netherlands.
The conference builds on the success of the four previous EMSAGG conferences, bringing together those actively involved in this area to share knowledge, research and best practice case studies.
Following an open call for abstracts, the conference will be exploring a range of topics both technical and non-technical including:
· New technologies and developments in exploration, operational and extraction and their applications
· Marine spatial planning, monitoring and sea bed optimisation with a focus on the EU Marine Strategy Framework, considering progress with implementation of the directive
· Extraction of marine sand & gravel – monitoring & impacts
