Alarm alongside optimism at WindEurope 2024

WindEurope in Bilbao this week has seen a healthy turn-out and number of announcements made - but warnings about the industry’s future were also raised.

Fears about supply chains and price competitiveness were aired by many exhibitors that spoke to Maritime Journal, and a conference focusing on the issue – Can we reduce our dependency on Asia? – broached the subject but ultimately did not provide answers to the question.
