EC pledges support package for wind power
EC president Ursula von der Leyen has announced a series of actions to support the wind industry, which she admitted was facing challenges.
Among these challenges, WindEurope says, are Chinese wind turbine manufacturers beginning to win orders in Europe with cheaper turbines and deferred payment terms that are ‘unfairly subsidised by the Chinese State’.
