Miros has unveiled PredictifAI, a cutting-edge wave and vessel motion prediction technology designed to enhance offshore operations with real-time ocean insights.
Using artificial intelligence (AI), X-band radar and precise wave height measurements, PredictifAI delivers highly accurate predictions of ocean waves and vessel motion seconds to minutes in advance.

This groundbreaking technology eliminates the need for calibration or pre-built digital twins by automatically generating its own.
Gunnar Prytz, Miros CTO, emphasised the transformative potential of the new tool: “By combining AI with real-time sea state data, PredictifAI enables vessel operators to anticipate and adapt with unparalleled confidence,” he said.
Offshore operators can benefit immediately fromthe technology, which works to improve safety and operational efficiency across critical tasks like wind turbine installation, diving support, cable laying and ROV launches.
PredictifAI also integrates with dynamic positioning systems, offering advanced warnings of approaching wave patterns to optimise decision-making and risk management.
