Finning UK & Ireland has showed its latest high-performance engine solutions and offered exclusive discount offers for the marine sector at Seawork International this year.

Star of the Finning stand was the new intelligent remote monitoring technology, which can be used on all Cat and MaK marine electronic engines.

The system provides valuable system efficiency data in real-time, by remotely monitoring a range of essential parameters, including total fuel used, fuel burn rate and oil pressure, among others.

Finning also offered showgoers a 20% discount on all Cat spare parts, running from 14 to 26 June. The firm invited all owners and operators to this exclusive offer to ensure their vessel continues to deliver high standards of engine performance, energy efficiency and low cost of ownership. Part of the reason for this push was to encourage the use of genuine Cat spare parts, rather than so called 'pattern' parts, which can be slightly cheaper but can invalidate warranties and are often not made to the same quality or tolerances leading to expensive repairs.

The firm works with boat builders, owners and fleet superintendants. It offers a range of Cat, MaK, EMD and Perkins marine propulsion solutions, auxiliary engines and packaged generator sets for the marine sector.
