CleanSeaNet spots oil
Irish authorities requested assistance last month from the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) to combat an oil spill initially detected by EMSA''s CleanSeaNet service 50 miles southeast of Fastnet Rock off the country''s West Cork coast.
