Wärtsilä will roll out its Navi-Port, Navi-Harbour Vessel Traffic Services and Port Management Information Systems across the ports in phased implementation to bring them all up to the same smart standard.

“This is a landmark contract that will have a profound impact on the sustainability, resilience and efficiency of global supply chains,” said Håkan Agnevall, President & CEO, Wärtsilä Corporation. ”Digitalisation offers great potential for the maritime industry to reach its ambitious emissions reductions targets.”

Wärtsilä Voyage president Sean Fernback said the deal would help ABP maintain its competitive advantage into the future.
