Offshore wind vessel pioneer dies aged 90

Dr Heinrich Schulte

One of the first shipbuilders to see the potential for offshore wind vessels has died at the age of 90, his company has said.

Dr Heinrich Schulte, the son of ship management company founder Bernard Schulte, recognised the potential ‘at an early stage’ and supported the development of a specialised offshore wind fleet.
