German sea ports publish call to government for more funding

The association of German sea ports has called on the government for a 10-fold increase in funding to allow security of goods supply and millions of jobs to continue. 

The Central Association of German Seaport Operators (ZDS) says that with 300 million tons of goods passing through the ports each year, the 1.3 million jobs associated with it and security of goods supply make it far too important to be neglected as it has been.
