Semi-submersible platform for new fishing technique
A new semi-submersible platform has been granted approval to fish for mussels within the confines of an offshore wind farm.
The sites are usually no-go areas for any kind of other operation, but mussel farming is seen to be good for the sea’s biodiversity, so permission was given for the Borselle wind farm in the Dutch sector of the North Sea.
