Van Oord puts 2 new LNG dredgers to work
Marine contracting giant Van Oord is protecting the Netherlands’ coastline with two identical trailing suction hopper dredgers, which are powered by liquefied natural gas.
A third LNG-powered dredger is to be named in September, completing a trio of new vessels for Van Oord’s fleet.
