Van Oord’s bolstering of the Romanian coastline will include artificial reefs to support marine ecosystems

The Administratia Bazinala de Apa Dobrogea-Litoral awarded Van Oord the design and construction of 6.7 km of resilient coastline for the Romanian seaside resorts of Costinesti, Mangalia-Saturn and 2 Mai.

Van Oord is already working on similar projects in the region such as replacing 6 km of coastline at the resort of Eforie on the Black Sea.
