Profile: The construction concerns the widening and deepening of the sailing channel to Arendalshamnen for the arrival of new types of traffic. The construction is to be carried out during the 2023–2024 dredging season (October through February). The construction includes dredging and rock blasting on the western side adjacent to the existing entry chute to ensure 9.7 m water depth. Procurement includes an option for dredging the eastern side, down to 9.4 m. The procurement documents are available from:
