The project will be performed within the Joint Venture agreement between MMT and Reach Subsea utilizing the vessel Edda Fonn.

The pipeline transports gas from Algeria to Spain and crosses the Mediterranean at a maximum depth of 2,155 metres of water.

The inspection work will begin in February 2017.

The project is important for MMT and Reach and demonstrates that their significant investments in personnel and technology for pipeline inspection projects have been successful.

MMT offers assured surveys in bathymetric, geophysical and geotechnical services, specialising in the oil & gas, hydrography and renewable energy & marine cable sectors.
