    Birse at work on Dartford Creek barrier maintenance programme

    Birse in the UK says it is currently at work replacing massive lifting chains and renewing other major pieces of equipment on the Dartford Creek barrier on the south side of the River Thames. The project commenced in June and is due to continue through to 2011.
