We are a small family business that is comitted to building very rugged and durable workboats using commercial grade materials and components. Fluggaboats are built using 5083H321 marine grade aluminium and our own High Density Polyethylene collars. This gives a very rugged and durable boat that can withstand many years of demanding use. Designed to Lloyds standards and built with up to date equipment in our modern facility powered by our wind turbine we produce quality workboats that have a carbon neutral credit. Coded to MCA category required, boats are delivered ready for work. We use only commercially rated products in the assembly from reputable suppliers. Careful choice of materials means we can produce very low maintenance boats that will have an extramely low cost through life for the operator. Built in Unst in Shetland, we have some very demanding waters close by for testing and trialling. We take pride in what we make, and every boat has a personal handover to the customer, and Sea trials are always done prior to delivery.
