    Subsea 7 expands fleet

    Subsea 7 of Aberdeen has launched the fourth of a series of seven new vessels costing a total of $200m. Seven Seas was designed and built by Merwede Shipyard in Hardinxveld-Giessendam, Holland, and is capable of operating over depths down to 3,000m.

The Peterhead craft will be a 13m twin screw pilot boat and general use vessel with a dredging unit for keeping the harbour clear.
