Colours for Gleistein

Colour is at the heart of an interesting development by Gleistein. It’s ‘economy’ BiPo fibre round or square braid ropes are not just easier to splice but also feature a new look which adds to safety.

As the new colour scheme of orange and black follows the direction of the rope, torsion becomes immediately visible by simply looking along its length, “You can see the torsion if the strands of one colour appear to twist,” says Thomas Schlätzer of German ropes specialist, Gleistein.

In addition, the new design also improves rope visibility when in the water or looking against the sky.
