CARIS bathymetric software for Le Havre
France’s second largest port at Le Havre has commissioned CARIS Bathy Database and Spatial Fusion Enterprise processing suites for management and distribution of bathymetric data for which its hydrographic department conducts approximately 400 new surveys per year in addition to existing operations.
With inclusion of an engineering analysis module, Bathy Database will ensure that latest survey information can be combined with a reference model of the harbour to easily compute volumes for dredging. At the same time use of Spatial Fusion will enable the hydrographic department to disseminate all its geospatial data digitally. External organisations will also be able to view and download data using a web browser.
