Drone enabling autonomous operations
The world’s first drone company to enable autonomous operations from land-based moving vehicles or at sea is coming to the UK.
Swathe Services has struck a deal to be the UK representative for California, US-based autonomous drone company Planck Aerosystems, handling its Shearwater Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), which can be deployed in minutes, with minimal user training and experience.
The UAVs have advanced onboard computing capabilities, long range digital communications and intelligent computer vision software.
They are designed to provides a safer, faster, and more efficient way to perform real-time situational awareness, inspection and object detection tasks from moving vehicles, such as work boats and trucks.
Swathe Services will be bringing its technology to the UK market in early 2018 through a series of planned demonstrations on both land and water environments.
