Free Valeport software released
Oceanographic and hydrographic instrumentation specialists Valeport have released their latest operating software, DataLog X2, which can be downloaded for free from the Totnes based-company’s website (www.valeport.co.uk).
It is designed to interface, configure and download data from both legacy and new products while also providing a number of bonus utilities, says Sales & Marketing Manager Kevin Edwards.
The software is available with new Valeport products and is mainly used in conjunction with the company’s widely-used tide gauge, sounder velocity profiler, CTD and current meter product ranges. Among latest developments is a new high accuracy sound velocity profiler for shallow water applications, Swift SVP, which the company plans to show for the first time at next month’s Ocean Business 2015.
