Victualic distributor
W&O Europe, a key supplier throughout Europe to the marine and marine offshore markets for pipe, valves and fittings, valve automation, and engineered solutions, is now the marine industry distributor for Victaulic mechanical pipe joining solutions in Holland, Belgium, Denmark and Spain.
Ship repair and maintenance applications can benefit from utilizing Victaulic’s mechanical pipe joining system. Its products provide ship owners and operators with reduced downtime due to the speed and ease of installation, as well as ease of access for changing or servicing equipment. The product line includes couplings, fittings, valves, hole cut products and pipe preparation tools.
“W&O Europe is excited to partner with Victaulic to bring a product to market that is approved for use in a wide variety of systems onboard numerous vessel types including container ships, cargo ships, tankers, passenger ships, workboats and FPSO/drill ships,” said Kristof Adam, Managing Director of W&O’s European operations.
The Victaulic system provides pipe connections, fittings and valves and is available to be installed on a variety of pipe materials onboard vessels such as black carbon steel, galvanized pipes, Copper Nickel and stainless steel. The assembly includes four elements: the pipe groove, a gasket, the housings, and nuts and bolts. The mechanical joint creates a triple seal due to the design relationship between the pipe groove, gasket and housings.
