Speedy surface submersible craft

Subsea Craft Ltd’s VICTA is believed to be the world’s most advanced Diver Delivery Unit (DDU). Its distinctive form combines the characteristics of a Long-Range Insertion Craft (LRIC) with those of a Swimmer Delivery Vehicle (SDV). VICTA is now in fit-out ahead of trials and testing across the summer.

Fast response

VICTA is primarily aimed at the defence market, but has potential for use in other areas, including offshore energy. It can reach speeds of up to 40 knots on the surface over a range of 250nm. Whilst submerged, the craft has an endurance of up to four hours – sufficient to cover 25nm with two crew and six operators.

With GB£12m funding from a private investor, UK-based Subsea Craft is now seeking second-stage investment to enhance working capital profiles, strengthen the brand, expand its offering and infiltrate other sectors.
