Scotland-headquartered ACE Winches is sharing its manufacturing and engineering expertise with SPRING Singapore to help strengthen its connections to the Asia-Pacific region.

The company hosted a delegation from SPRING Singapore, a statutory board under the Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry responsible for helping Singapore enterprises grow, at its Towie Barclay Works facility.

During the visit, ACE Winches shared an overview of its products and services with several delegates from the Marine and Offshore Department at SPRING Singapore, responsible for facilitating the growth of local enterprises serving the needs of the marine and offshore industry and the upstream oil and gas industry.

“ACE Winches is already supplying equipment and personnel into Asia-Pacific. Working with key organisations like SPRING Singapore will help ACE Winches to strengthen its connections with locally based companies who are sourcing back-deck equipment and solutions,” said Hayley Yule, marketing and communications director, ACE Winches.

Through the interactions with their industry partners, ACE Winches says it’s recognised the importance of subsea technology and marginal field development in the upstream oil and gas industry, and has embarked on various delegations to gain a deeper understanding of the technological areas within the UKCS.

ACE Winches is a global leader in the design, manufacture and hire of winches, marine deck machinery and the provision of associated hire personnel for the offshore oil and gas, marine and renewable energy industries.

Its services include managing projects from concept design through to manufacture, testing, installation, commissioning, operation, training and ongoing customer support.
