A Strategic vessel move with MainPrize Offshore
At Seawork 2024, Strategic Marine signed an MoU with Mainprize Offshore for the acquisition of six state-of-the-art Supa Swath vessels.
The MoU follows the recent delivery of two similar vessels designed by Walker Marine Design.
This new agreement, which includes an option for an additional six vessels, looks to enhance Strategic Marine’s fleet capabilities and expand operational capacity.

Strategic agreement
The MoU was signed between Chan Eng Yew, chief executive officer of Strategic Marine, and Bob Mainprize, managing director and owner of Mainprize Offshore, in an at-show ceremony onboard Strategic Marine’s multi-award winning StratCat 27 Crew Transfer Vessel.
The Supa Swath vessels will play a crucial role in supporting operations across the offshore wind sector.
Their key features include enhanced stability, making them ideal for operations in demanding environments. But they’ve also been designed to support a wide range of maritime activities, including transport, offshore support and research.
They’re equipped with cutting-edge propulsion systems offering significant fuel savings, thereby creating a smaller carbon footprint and contributing to sustainability goals.
They also have the latest navigation and communication technologies to ensure safer and more efficient maritime operations.
