Lead Product Manager, NCC Group
Floris is a Lead Product Manager at NCC Group, where he drives innovation in Managed Extended Detection and Response (MXDR)—covering Managed SIEM, EDR, and NDR solutions for both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments. His work focuses on enabling organisations to detect, respond to, and mitigate cyber threats before they impact critical systems.
Floris established the Managed OT practice in NCC Group. With a strong commitment to protecting OT systems, he helps clients address the unique challenges of securing digital-physical systems against nation-state actors and organised cybercrime. He combines technical expertise with strategic insight to design solutions that strengthen resilience in complex environments.
Floris also contributes to NCC Group’s research on Quantum Computing and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC). Recognising the looming risk posed by quantum advancements, which he studied as part of his executive post-master in IT Auditing and Advisory, he takes an especially keen interest in the combined threat of the Computationally Relevant Quantum Computer to Operational Technology Systems.
