LISW tugs seminar throws up more questions than answers
With the cost of a fully-electric tug in the region of double that of a conventional one, doubts over performance lifetime and the cost to ports of provding the necessary power infrastructure, the road to achieving a fully electric world tug fleet is looking steep.
