The National Oceanography Centre in Liverpool is to host the 56th Marine Measurement Forum at the University of Liverpool’s Foresight Centre on Wednesday 15 July. The agenda for the day-long event will feature a series of 20-minute talks by leading representatives of research institutions and commercial organisations on topics ranging from scientific research, instrumentation and survey projects.
Speakers are now sought for the occasion and those interested are asked to submit a provisional title and a short summary to NOCevents@noc.ac.uk. Delegate registration cost, covering also refreshments and a networking lunch, is £45 including VAT. Further details are available from Ian Folger at the NOC. There will also be an opportunity to tour the NOC’s nearby facilities.
Future twice-yearly non-profit MMF functions are scheduled to be hosted by HR Wallingford and Plymouth Marine Laboratory.
