ZF expands distribution network

Technology group ZF is expanding its product distribution to important European markets.

ZF and ADS van STIGT partnership

ZF is no longer solely supplying transmissions to ADS van STIGT, but also rudder propellers, tunnel thrusters and steering systems. The company has been supplying powerful marine transmissions to its Dutch partner for more than 40 years.

The deal will enable ADS van STIGT to supply comprehensive, system-integrated propulsion solutions for offshore applications, inland shipping, workboats, superyachts, and fishing boats. Shipyards and fleet operators will be able to access robust and high-performance marine technology from ZF with greater speed and flexibility. ZF will also have better access to important markets, especially in the Benelux countries.

“ZF’s technological expertise is a pledge that the company has delivered on, day after day, for more than 40 years. It is a group that we are proud to collaborate with,” commented Dave Plug, managing director of ADS van STIGT.

“The partnership with ADS has been extremely beneficial for ZF over the course of more than 40 years. We are pleased to be opening a new chapter in our shared history with this portfolio expansion,” said Andre Körner, director of the commercial and fast craft product line at ZF.
