Humber Work Boats Branches Out
Marine and dredging specialists Humber Work Boats of Grimsby are now offering a hydrographic capability for northern Europe.
The company, comprising a multi-disciplinary team of surveyors and biologists supported by office-based mapping, digital terrain modelling, GIS and CAD facilities, specialises in inland water and shoreline operations.
At seawork , Surveying Manager Jon Steed said that the company aims to provide existing and potential clients with a complete range of services covering bathymetric, shallow water and oceanographic operations in addition to positioning support.
Of two specialist support vessels available, the John Elliot will be mobilised from the company’s headquarters for north eastern coastal operations while Fast Track, a 10m aluminium road transportable craft, will be used for other areas. All services on offer include full reporting and plotting, post-processing and detailed reports using industry standard digital formats for CD-ROM or email.
