Cleveleys Coastal Protection Scheme wins BCI award
A £ 20m coastal protection and environmental enhancement scheme at Cleveleys seafront in the UK has won an award in the British Construction Industry (BCI) Awards. After being shortlisted in five different categories, the project picked up the Environmental Award for the way it ‘ transformed a dilapidated 1920s seafront into an attractive, vibrant frontage which is safe, robust and has stimulated demonstrable regeneration.’
