Chinese Yards Tug Export Boom
The Nanjing Tong Kah Shipbuilding Yard , located some 300km up Chinas Yangtze River from the sea, is churning out barges and tugs for overseas owners. The relatively new yard has recently delivered two 2,400hp tugs and two more are nearing completion.
