See WaterMota everywhere at Seawork

This year WaterMota will have not one but four stands at Seawork. The main stand will be located in its usual position opposite the main entrance, where along with the range of engines, the display will also include a selection of Dong-I reversing gearboxes, power take-offs and steering systems, WaterMota assembled gensets and power packs, Westerbeke propulsion engines and gensets, plus sea water pumps from JMP and AZCUE.

The company’s quayside stand will provide somewhere for clients to relax and enjoy the view over the pontoon area. And on the pontoons, two Hyundai SeasAll powered vessels, a Coastworker 21 and a Pirate 21, will be giving demonstrations in Southampton Water.

Two further vessels will also be available for demonstrations, powered by Doosan engines. Will Supply is Williams Shippings’ new multicat type vessel built at Manor Marine, with a pair of L126TIH Doosans on board, while Will Jive is a new Meercat with L136 engines.

The Hyundai SeasAll engines are designed for light duty commercial, for RIBS or for the pleasure boat industry. They offer great fuel efficiency, reliability, power and endurance.

Currently the engines are available in 2.2 litre and 3 litre versions, in sterndrive, shaftdrive and waterjet configurations. The entire range is quiet and lightweight with the flag carrier of the SeasAll family being the S250 3.0 litre V6 CRDI (Common Rail Direct Injection) engine, designed to be ultra-light, quiet, and fuel efficient thanks to the compacted graphite iron block. Boat builders and operators alike will appreciate its extremely compact dimensions.

The engines are available in sterndrive, shaftdrive or waterjet configurations and weigh just 260kg. Engine power, fuel consumption and emissions are optimised with electronic engine management and common rail fuel injection system.

The Doosan engines range from 5.8 to 22 litres. In marine propulsion format this includes 117 to 883 kW and, for fixed speed marine auxiliary duty with electronic governing, from 77 to 530 kW. The Westerbeke engines range from 12 to 126 hp with generators ranging from 3 to 60 kW.

The WaterMota stands will be manned by the company’s team of product experts, who will be available throughout the event to offer advice to both existing and potential new customers.
