Marine engine range launched at Seawork

The engines are derived from the JCB Dieselmax engine and a specially designed for the marine environment in power ratings of 85 hp, 125 hp, and 160 hp. PTP Marine is calling upon its in-house engineering and manufacturing facility at Leicestershire UK to offer more as standard on this engine product.

Each engine includes an indirect cooling system incorporating a high capacity heat exchanger and gear driven raw water pump. Fresh water cooling is via a self-adjusting Polly Vee Belt driven centrifugal water pump and is pressurised and thermostatically controlled. A 12V electrical system is standard, with a 4.2kW starter motor and a 95A alternator. There is a comprehensive instrument panel with audible alarm and a 6m wiring loom a standard. Also included are fully adjustable marine resilient mounts, a front drive belt guard with removable access panel for crankshaft axial drive, morese cable brackets for speed and gear controls, a high performance air intake, stainless steel water injection exhaust bend, flexible fuel pipes, and a sump oil drain pump.
