Suzuki to showcase new motors at Seawork
Suzuki Marine will be showcasing new models and boat packages at Seawork International this year – including the new innovative DF30A and DF25A outboards.
These new models weigh just 62kg for the basic and Suzuki said that they will be the lightest in their respective classes making them ideal for small safety or rescue craft or tenders.
George Cheeseman, sales & marketing manager for Suzuki GB’s ATV and Marine Divisions, said that sales of Suzuki outboards into the commercial sector have grown considerably over the last five years.
“Therefore we look forward to Seawork as it is an important forum for us to network with our existing partners and customers and to showcase Suzuki’s range of hard working and fuel-efficient outboard motors to prospective new clients,” he said.
The main features and benefits of the new motors include battery-less fuel injection for smoother operation, easy start recoil for ease of use, a lean burn control system for fuel economy, roller rocker arms & offset crankshaft for improved efficiency and a freshwater flush port for convenient maintenance.
Among its range of 2.5hp – 300hp four stroke outboards, Suzuki will also be displaying its DF175TG and 150TG models, which also benefit from Suzuki’s Lean Burn Fuel Control technology and electronic drive-by-wire system. This particular feature gives smooth, precise control with crisp, immediate shifting particularly at low revs and when manoeuvring.
In addition to the new motors, Suzuki’s boat builder partners will also have the following boat/engine packages available to test on the water: Ribcraft 7.8m + Suzuki DF140, Humber 8.5m + Twin Suzuki DF140A, New Warrior 175 Export + Suzuki DF70A, SeaRover 21D + Suzuki DF80A, Brig Navigator 570 + Suzuki DF90A and the Medina Craft + Suzuki DF90A.
